I smoked for long enough to know what it does to your house. And OP’s picture is just sad. The cheapest possible chicken soup *concentrate*, barely flavored sugar water and they keystone to health: cigarettes. If the first thing OP thinks about when he starts coughing up green phlegm is, “time to switch up to menthols,” you know his carpet and couch smell like a 60’s bowling alley.

It's really weird how terrified everyone is of sugar now.
If you're fat your problem is the same it's always been: Calories.
>inb4 you can still get diabetes without being fat
Yeah, but that's not common at all and nobody legitimate blames sugar for non-overweight adults getting type 2 diabetes. In those cases it's probably one of two things: A) you have some yet undiscovered genetic quirk that allowed this to happen or B) you were really overweight and that got hit with diabetes so hard you urinated out all your excess weight rapidly before ending up in the hospital where they diagnosed you.
https://www.diabetes.org.uk/guide-to-diabetes/enjoy-food/eating-with-diabetes/diabetes-food-myths/myth-sugar-causes-diabetes
>With Type 2 diabetes, though we know sugar doesn’t directly cause Type 2 diabetes, you are more likely to get it if you are overweight. You gain weight when you take in more calories than your body needs, and sugary foods and drinks contain a lot of calories.

>> No.12457863

The implication is still that it's harmful in a particular way related to diabetes. It's not like diabetes was picked at random as an example of something ginger ale merely doesn't cure. The joke wouldn't make sense if they picked Lou Gehrig's disease for example, and ginger ale definitely doesn't cure Lou Gehrig's disease either.
It's predicated on you mentally connecting sugar with diabetes. Same way it's predicated on you mentally connecting the sodium in soup with high blood pressure and the carcinogens in cigarettes with lung cancer.

He's fine. Retards just can't get over the part where it isn't filled with complicated details. His pictures provides a neat window into his weird and quasi-autistic worldview where mass produced commodities like Campbell's soup and Coca-Cola are an overlooked part of our modern culture and the democratizing virtues that set it apart from others.
>What’s great about this country is that America started the tradition where the richest consumers buy essentially the same things as the poorest. You can be watching TV and see Coca-Cola, and you know that the President drinks Coke, Liz Taylor drinks Coke, and just think, you can drink Coke, too. A Coke is a Coke and no amount of money can get you a better Coke than the one the bum on the corner is drinking. All the Cokes are the same and all the Cokes are good. Liz Taylor knows it, the President knows it, the bum knows it, and you know it.

That one was actually recovered from the studio after he was already dead. It was probably just a joke kind of thing he'd show people to shock them.
He did have something similar to that which he made public which is his Oxidations series. That idea was less about making fun of art and more about a genuine mild appreciation / interest in the patterns and colors you could make with the reaction between uric acid and copper.

Campbell’s condensed soup are an artifact of a stupider time when people still thought cigarettes could improve health.

How hard is it to acquire freshly made soup in 2019? When I’ve got a cold, I’d much rather not be sucking down a can of sodium to go with my dehydration.
