FFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK WHY IS IT IMPOSSIBLE TO FLIP EGGS

>> No.12456225

This is why I don't cook eggs any more. It's too impossible.

>> No.12456236

Tilt the pan to a 45 degree angle, then grab the egg and flip that bitch, and catch it in the pan gracefully.

It’s not. You just suck.
Or you could just put a lid on the pan to have the top cook as well. If you’re frying the egg with oil then you can just spoon the oil on top of the egg to cook it.
Otherwise you just suck at cooking eggs

fish spatula

Stop flipping eggs you piece of shit. Baste the top with a splash of water and a lid.

>It's the greatest thing—you don't even have to like fish to own one; in fact, you can utterly despise anything that comes out of the water and I can almost guarantee that you will still find the light, the truth, and the way in your fish spatula—let it in. Let it be your magic wand for turning things over.

>Do you wanna know what life is like without the glorious angular power of a fish spatula in your possession? I'll tell you, it's fine. Nothing more. Maybe less. You'll get through the days, the fried eggs, the roasted potatoes well enough, but it won’t be the seamless, nothing-ever-left-plastered-on-your-pan experience that makes the days move easy and joyfully. I can tell you, I know what this subpar existence is like. I was young once… naive once. I went to Target and bought A handsome, sleek as hell, sturdy-handled metal spatula (spoiler alert: it was not a fish spatula) with the intention of making it my #1—my primary spatula. Some days, I wish I could take it back (both my decision and the used spatula)... but sometimes a $15 mistake is the only way we grow. I know better now.

>egg is stuck in a nonstick pan
Well god damn kid I don't know what to tell you. First off you should be using enough butter that it shouldn't even stick to an engine block. Second off...

heh, the other night i flipped 3 perfectly. looks like you're just a cooklet.
I'll try and help you though.
oil or butter the pan properly.
if you want to flip you need to let the egg cook longer than you might expect.
use a rubber spatula to push the ends until you start to get the egg free and sliding.
then flip it. this is obviously the hard part.

Just cover the egg for 2 seconds. Nobody actually flips eggs in a kitchen
