I was genuinely surprised at the quality of the ribeye I had there

Had the ribs last week and they were decent. Not too fatty like I'm used to.

I make a point of getting their ribs at any locatin I visit, and have in the last year or so started to make a point of visiting at each new place I go if there is one close by. so far I have only had one rack that I'd rate as low as a 7.5/10. All else have been as good as any local chain if not better.

their steaks are cheaper by the ounce compared to any other restaurant around me that serves steaks. the few times i go there the steak is usually pretty great. their other entrees are good, too, and of course the rolls and cinnamon butter are guilty pleasures

Haven't been there in about 3 years but used to go all the time in college and never had a bad experience.

They've really stepped up their game lately.

The ribs are fall of bone tender and they have a Prime Rib dinner for $15, and I was genuinely shocked with how good the Prime Rib was when I tried, honestly I wasn't expecting much, but it was a hefty thick cut red and moist as it just came off the rotisserie.

Once upon a time they were decent because they relied heavily on rotisserie. Then they fagged everything up and everyone that used them as a cheap rotisserie source fucked off. If they go back to those roots, they could find success, but they'd have to get people like me back on board, and they've scared me off over the years.

Texas Roadhouse and Outback Steakhouse are the only good steak restaurants when it comes to cuts and quality

Texas Roadhouse consistently hits the mark with both quality and price, and is a local family favorite for me and my pals. I like their Texas Tbone and bread.

I used to work at a texas roadhouse. Shitty place to work if you're white but I can attest to the food quality. Nothing was frozen, even the chicken tenders were breaded and fried to order. The secret to their steaks is they have an in house meat cutter (with a bandsaw and everything) and buy the meat by the quarter.

I used to work fryers and the device used to clean the oil (a shallow square pan with a paper filter and a pump) was broken. I had to empty 15 gallons of oil x4 fryers through a sieve into cooking pots and then pour it back in. Plus I only made $7.75/hr.

Bonefish Grill used to be a good chain although I haven't been there in years

You guys know that Texas Roadhouse also serves more than just steaks? They've got a seasonal selection of seafood (fresh every day) and also chicken and pork that is to die for. Pic related is a grilled portabello mushroom chicken entree that I got the other night. 8.5/10 was pretty good but hard to remember because of the bottomless long island ice tea special they had ($12 free refills after 8pm)

Texas Roadhouse is dank. The food is always great and I think the prices are good for the quality. Also all the waitresses at my location are thicc & hott. I like everything already mentioned but I'm going to rep the chili as a side dish, I get it every time. My only complaint is that Roadhouse is too goddamn loud inside. Also I live in Texas and like the other anon said, we just call it "the roadhouse"

Twin peaks food used to suck ass but around 5-7 years ago they realized the T&A restaurants had a lot of competition and greatly improved their food and cocktail menu.

I'm one of the least picky eaters ever and I go out to eat fairly often and Texas Roadhouse is the only place I've ever sent food back. They literally served me cold food after waiting close to an hour for my meal to arrive. I imagine the waiter forgot about us and the food was just sitting. Only ate there once more and the food came on time but was not appetizing at all. Reminded me of applebee's quality.

This happened in eastern pennsylvania.

Now the real question is who's better? Logan's Roadhouse or Texas Roadhouse?

Theres nowhere else even close to TRH for the quality to price ratio. For $11 I get peanuts, bread with honey butter, a LEGIT side salad, a loaded sweet potato, and a 6oz steak. As good as the food is, theres not even a close competitor.

TEXAS Roadhouse isn't bad but I haven't been to one in 10 years or so.
My favorite chain, non-fastfood restaurant is probably Maggianos.
Even if it is a little more expensive than the Carrabas or Olive Gardens; the food is always good and the service is great.

The salmon at TR is legitimately delicious.
