Is caviar good? I read that it’s salty and fishy because it’s fish eggs.

>> No.12436028

Salt is good and fish is good so what confuses you?

>> No.12436040

I've had the chance to have beluga caviar, the supposedly good stuff. Hated it. Richfags pretend to enjoy it because it's so expensive. Biggest meme.

>> No.12436045

It is good.

>> No.12436115

Yes. Don't expect some marvels or such but it's a nice, fun food. It's roughly the flavor of a common fish paste, but completely different texture - the little jelly balls pop under your tongue or on your teeth with a kind of fizzy feel releasing some extra flavor. If it was, sweet and say, cherry or chocolate flavor, it would be a total blast as a kids food, but tasting like salty fish and being expensive kinda limits the scope.

This is the actual meme. Not-rock People in Russia and Iran eat it all the time. Because it's delicious.

Belugas are whales. They don't produce caviar. Stupid claim.

100g of good caviar costs about 30% of average wage in Russia, brainlet.

There are two aquatic animals by that name, beluga whales and strugeon fish, the latter being a common source of caviar.

OTOH you can have a 300g jar of cheapo caviar for some 30 Rubles or $0.50. There are hundreds of brands and they span a huge range of prices.

Caviar is literally a salt-cured roe. And there are many kinds of caviar. Salt-cured pike roe is a kind of caviar too.

If you define caviar as sevruga, maybe. But then you'd be a brainlet yourself.

Not that you've ever tasted it either way. Go back to your tendies and ketchup.

Asks about caviar. Doesn't even know there's more kinds of caviar than sturgeon. Calls people brainlets for knowing what he doesn't. And in the end tries the "but the picture" defense.

I made some catfish caviar from a big ol' Blue cat I caught on my trotline once. I just stripped the eggs from the membrane sac, salted them and let 'em sit in the cold spring house where it's cool for a few days to cure. Delicious served on top of corn pone.

I‘m just not a third-world poorfag like you, my man. So when someone clearly asks about a rare and expensive delicacy I talk to them precisely about that very product and not some cheap and ubiquitous ersatz-prolefeed that is vaguely of the same type.
