One of my sisters idiot boyfriends 'tricked' me into eating some wings coated in a stupid hot meme chili sauce.

Spiciest? Half a bowl of chili con carne where I totally overdid the peppers - was something like 30% beef, 70% various hot peppers, primarily habaneros and dried chillies, no beans or other filler. Was totally inedible due to completely ludicrous spiciness. Tried to save it with lots and lots of rice, didn't quite pan out, got very weakly beef-flavored ridiculously hot and otherwise very bland rice.

As for actual hot dish I enjoyed - after having some nice chat with a thai restaurant owner, got him to prepare a "4 out of 5" spiciness scale curry "not adjusted for local market". Not only was it delicious and just at the threshold of my tolerance, it gave me a silly ecstatic buzz like some kind of drug.

Grew up in Miami where I had access to all sorts of spicy Caribbean food. There was this Trinidadian hole in the wall where this lady would make lke gallons of hot sauce using fresh ingredients including this special pepper from Trinidad. For like $3 I could get like 30oz of it. It was so hot even the tiniest amount would be hard to handle and it would ruin soups if not used carefully. Miss that shit and my Caribbean/Latin food options
