well you can find all ends of the spectrum. I'm glad there's shit on the market besides soulless poverty tier lagers but yeah I'm not a fan of beer that doesn't taste like beer. That said some flavor innovations I think are totally in the spirit of the craft - I tried some brews that incorporated rice recently, those were pretty good while managing to be different.

Also for OP's pic, porters and stouts are just whole different ball game compared to most styles of beer anyway. I'd try it. Definitely not the most impressively crafted packaging though.
