Tell me HOW you make THIS taste better?
What is the secret? Butter? Hot sauce? Spices?

Render a couple of slices of bacon, sliced into batons. Fry some chopped green chilies and chopped onion in the bacon grease. Add refried beans and mix.

Great insight. You're a god among men.

Except for the fact that you didn't elaborate on fucking anything.

Kill yourself.

Sazon is a meme taken too far. After ruining another pot of rice with it hoping it would be different this time I threw the remaining packets I had away.

Not the bacon, the bacon greese.

On the other hand failing that, add caspers.

Simmer 1 lb of pinto beans with 2 chopped onions for a few hours until the onion has broken down and it's thickened. Season with oregano and a bit of cumin. Add a lot of fat, like 1 cup of lard, vegetable oil, or butter. Start to mash the beans and let them stick to the bottom a bit before scraping it up, and do that for like 5-10 minutes. Salt to taste.

You really need to add a lot of fat to get a good texture. And you'll need something acidic to balance out the fat when serving, like lime juice or hot sauce.
