I'm so fucking sick of shitty electric cooktops, I want a proper flame to cook with proper heat.

My house (rental) has sufficient kitchen space where I can put a wheeled island / prep table in the middle and put one of these boys (or something like it) on it. Anyone do something like this?

I am aware of the risks of using propane/butane indoors. Will use proper ventilation.

three large screened windows immediately next to where i'd have it, plus a ceiling fan to be run during use, plus the house itself is quite large.

I'd only really use this for certain things. The electric cooktop is acceptable for the rest.

there are a ton of houses that have a big propane tank to heat and cook with
there is nothing wrong with using propane
>Carbon Monoxide is the product of incomplete gas combustion often because appliances are improperly adjusted. Properly functioning propane appliances will produce what is called an "ideal burn" during combustion and present no danger of Carbon Monoxide poisoning

>> No.12307006

>>12306996
the main thing is there is that incomplete combustion occurs when there's not enough oxygen present (the combustion is fuel-rich, as opposed to stoichiometric or lean)

but does that mean just ensuring that enough fresh air is getting to the burner? or is it more a matter of the fuel dispersal inside the burner

I have used the harbor freight version for 9 years in my studio apt .
my electric bill dropped from 220 dollars a month to around 50 or so in the winter and about 80 in the summer because aircon.
I just hooked it up to a 20 lbs. cylinder I get about 2 months on a tank,

also I did forget to add , get some old stove top grates and bolt them down on it ..these will save a lot of frustration as the one that come with it are way to small for skillets and such.
