I once had a local whisky in Senegal, im not sure what it was called. It was by far the worst whisky i've ever tasted. It smelled are tasted comparable to pure fucking turpentine. It was still better than the rum though, which was in a home recycled bottle and had "local rum" written on it with a marker. Im pretty sure that was just some kind of moonshine that a resort employee made. I still have eyesight btw.

Back to the point, i usually end up buying either jameson of four roses as my go to cheap whiskies. They happen to be very cheap where i live, and i like them (can both be sipped or used to mix). Generally a bigger fan a Scottish whiskies, but i havent found a really cheap one yet, so i just treat my single malts as occasional sipping whiskies while i use jameson and four roses as my getting drunk whiskies. If anyone can recommend a very cheap scotch then its very welcome. I did recently bought a discount bottle of JW black label for 20 euros. Was a pretty good value, honestly a decent whisky for a relatively cheap blend. I enjoyed it more than i expected after all the JW/blend hate i read on the internet.

I've been drinking straight liquor (usually whiskey or gun) or mixed with Sprite Zero daily for months now without break, pretty much compulsively, probably around 10 drinks or so per night, sometimes before work also
Usually it's Seagrams 7, occasionally Jameson and for gin New Amsterdam or other cheap stuff.
I decided to mix it up and get some rum and got pic related for the first time in a couple years, it was on clearance at the liquor site for $14.99 a handle
Last night I made a dri k with it and it tasted so bad that I poured it out and rather than switcg to gin I simply went to bed sober.
So there you have it, liquor so bad it made an alkie turn it down christ it tasted awful, what was I thinking

jinro is pretty standard for soju. jinro24 is classic but their chamisul bottles tend to be sweeter imo. either are pretty cheap and available at your local asian grocery.

I'm currently enjoying ginza no suzume which is a barley sochu. about 15 bux and a bit harsher than the Korean stuff but much smoother than moresovodka. Black is cheaper here in Commiefornia as well, but only by $2. Really makes the choice to go white label all the more clearer.

When I first tried it, it tasted unusually smooth for the price, almost like a sake. I found out later that the Jim Beam Distillery is now owned by a Japanese company. Who knew?

Unlike 99.9% of you whiskey fags, I've had two different types of home-made corn whiskey, irish whiskey in ireland, and scotch in scotchland.

There is a place ofr cheap whiskey.

People who claim to need high-priced whiskey are usually very inexperienced in the matter.

I use sweet, Jameson's has a natural sweetness to it so you can mix it to dangerous levels (50/50) and barely notice.
