Any noodles that are left in a liquid sauce overnight or for longer end up absorbing everything and become really soggy and you can't taste anything.
The first time I noticed this was when I was a kid with kraft mac n cheese. If you put leftovers in a container and microwave it the next day, it'll taste like bland oily noodles and you get no cheese flavor whatsoever. Same thing happens with spaghetti in tomato sauce.
I now just keep sauces separate and boil pasta fresh each time to mix with the reheated sauce, or at the very least refrigerate it alone.
