McDonalds is only around because they cater to children and poor's. If only you knew how badly you were being cucked. I worked for them for almost a decade back around the turn of the century. They used to cook their fries in beef fat, than they switched to a cheap oil one day and people complained for months about how shitty they tasted after. We used to regularly give out refunds because people would bring them back and say they tasted like shit. Eventually people just accepted the new shit taste and that is how capitalism rules the world. Everything gets shittier over time and we get mad on twatter for a few days and then just accept it and march along to the drum of our masters.

That having been said I generally prefer Chick-fil-a's, not because the fries are better, but because Chick-fil-a is the only place where I can get Chick-fil-a sauce to go with my fries.

Sorry, that's not right. McDonald's used a blend of beef tallow and starch until 1990. A health-nut crusader who had a hard-on against cholesterol funded a huge advertising campaign claiming that McDonald's was literally poisoning America. Management decided the publicity wasn't worth the battle, and switched to vegetable oil (which was in fact no more healthy than the original).

The lawsuit you're referring to was in the early 2000s, when a Hindu vegetarian sued over the fact that they claimed the fries had no animal products, but in fact beef powder was added to the potatoes at the processing plant.

In-N-Out has literally the worst fries I have ever eaten in my life.

I had some rosemary shoestring fries from Burgerville her in oregon last year, they were really good, crisp and not overly seasoned. Had them again not too long ago and it was like someone tripled the salt and put way too much rosemary on them, it was like a one to one ratio of seasoning to fries. Shame too, I'd been looking forward to them and the second helping was a real let down.
