$5 here, meanwhile a loaf of bread is $3 and GOOD cheese or roast beef is $50+++ for enough to get you through that loaf.

Bull-fucking-shit. Unless you're getting the most expensive cheese you can find there's no way it'll be that expensive. What kinda roast beef costs that much?

Jesus fucking christ that's pathetic, Texasfag here, shit is like 6 bucks here, maybe 7 if you spring for a large. Also, assuming you go to HEB, a full loaf of bread ($1.50), quarter pound of sliced Boar's Head roast beef ($2.52), and a quarter pound of some sliced Boar's Head cheddar cheese (also $2.52), would run you 6.54 + tax, so let's say 7 bucks. So, unless you live in some dystopian shithole metropolis Albini is right.

I was simply using it as an example since it's the most expensive deli meat brand you can buy there, I doubt the poorfag who only has like 50 dollars a week to work with for food gives a shit you fag.

>Where’s the drink

you just bought a full loaf of bread, so you don't have to buy it for at least half a week if you're smart about conserving it, get a big bag of chips instead of the bread the next day, assuming you can make both last you should have a bag of chips and a loaf of bread at home for most of the week.

Or you could just get the McMeal, you'll feel fuller and more satisfied for about the same price.

This argument falls flat because it only works if the Big Mac meal was using premium ingredients. It's not.
$3.50 for enough ham to make a 4 sandwiches
$1 for a loaf of bread.
$2 for a stack of cheese slices

McDonald's uses shit ingredients across the board. Even their fries are made from potatoes that don't look good enough to put on the store shelf.

These are the prices in my area
Loaf of white bread: 85¢
2lbs of roast beef: $10
1lb of Americheese: $4
Iceberg lettuce: $1
An onion: 50¢
A tomato: 50¢
A large pickle: $1
Mayonnaise: $2
Mustard: 65¢
Family size bag of chips: $2.85
Gallon of homemade iced tea: $1

Total cost for 8 sandwiches + chips + drink: $24.35 IE about $3 per meal.

I don't know how much a Big Mac meal costs but even going with your $5 price point, it would still be cheaper for me to make a roast beef sandwich than it would be to eat a McMeal.
