Do you bring your own food to work.

Pic. Some katsu, pickles, cabbage and miso

Looks good, mang. I'm a consultant and basically work from home unless I'm traveling, so for me it's mostly a matter of going to the kitchen and getting leftovers. Even when I worked in an office I had a short commute so I'd often come home to eat. It's just nice to get physically out of the office and away from the distraction for even 45 minutes.

Miso rounds it out well, and I had some tofu/new season potato the end of its shelflife.

Yeah, I started doing it while at university. After a week of standing in the long lines for sub-par food, I bought a food thermos, vacuum flask, ice cooler, food containers, tiny salt and pepper shakers, etc. I got a bag to carry it all.

People loved to come and see what the fuck I was doing. It was like they thought food only came out of kitchens. Same reaction when you tell someone you build your own PC. "What do you MEAN you built your computer? How is that possible?"

In the summer, I like to carry ice water in the vacuum flask and I have a little container with a screw on lid for storing some drink powder. Normally I leave it untouched and drink plain water, but when it's really hot outside I'll pour it into the flask and shake it up really good.

Taking care of yourself is max comfy.

Use a thermos for the miso, putting it in Tupperware looks stupid
