Ok then. I have been doing UberEats for some months now. I deliver in a University/city area. The type of customers I get are families, singles, and college kids that probably don't own some form of transportation. Well obviously some of the food that I deliver is an actual meals worth, and around 4-5 miles away. However sometimes I make deliveries for places like Wawa, ice cream places, and boba tea places. So I can end up delivering shit like a single smoothie or bubble tea to people barley 2 miles away or even worse 6 miles. That means they could end up paying like $12-$15 for something like a $5 bubble tea. Now I get it if your some slightly rich kid who didn't have transportation and you order a couple gallons of water, ice tea, and maybe some candy from Wawa. But I have literally just had people deliver them candy that are barely two miles away. That seems like such a waste of money. At least get a sandwich thrown in to eat later or something. Even dummer is when I deliver some stuff for McDonald's. I have had someone order a snack size frosty, and a separate order which was two things of fries. Wtf?! Like if your going to be paying money for this shit why not order from a place far away or order a decent amount of food. Again I get it if rich college kid, or sometimes I deliver to Mom's who don't want me knocking on the door waking the baby, but to order a single item like that seems stupid or just shows your wealth. Although it seems like UberEats is making it so if you order from a certain place at a certain time is free, but still.

Side note please tip your driver's. Even giving a $1 does a lot. Unless they suck or something.

I kinda like long drives more but as long as I have a constant flow it's good. The thing about long drives is I get paid more, but I could end up in the boonies and have to drive 10min to get a hit. Sometimes feel like the app would take me halfway across the state if I let it.
