You're paying for cleaner bathrooms. That's it. You have to bear in mind their entire menu consists of buns, pickles, and fried chicken breasts. The breasts get cut up into salad. The buns are replaced with biscuits in the morning. Otherwise, their meal components are miniscule.

Why does this matter? Cost. It costs more money to maintain the quality standards, safety, acquisitions, and organization of the 100+ components that places like McDonalds use. Chick-fil-a should really sell those sandwiches for about 50 cents each, because they're probably only paying 15 cents each to make them. The food is WAY overpriced once you realize their expenses are about 20% that of McDonalds.

Again, you're money is paying for the clean bathrooms. And the rest goes to persecuting gays or something, I don't know or care. Either way, you're getting ripped off.

Situational. If you're talking to someone who knows your beliefs but they keep bringing God into the conversation, then you have no obligation to just sit there and quietly accept it. Because you KNOW they're preaching to you, even if it's subtle. They're doing it to force their religion on you. It's not a habit, or a slip of the tongue.

By that logic, you should always keep religion out of conversation with strangers. "Happy Holidays" this and "Best wishes" that. No "Merry Christmas" or "You're in our prayers".
