Royal oak just opened new parking structures a couple months ago which added hundreds of new parking spots. The one off 11mile and main across from imagine theater is the most centrally located so i advise using that one. Agreed on people eating in detroit because it's "dangerous" even though anyone who lives around here knows its not. My personal favorite is O.W.L. on woodward at 11 mile. Their burger with jalapeno bacon and chihuahua cheese is the best hamburger in michigan as far as I've found. Plus they stay open all night so after a night of beers i can head over there at 1am.
