Some Filipino is fantastic but a lot of it will be offensive to the American palate. No yankee doodle will want to eat balut (fertilized duck egg), sisig (pork cheeks and offal), kare kare (oxtail soup), etc. Even adobo, while delicious; is very plain, and is made with incredibly cheap ingredients.

And nearly all of it looks ugly.
