Just got paid, I just bought a good amount of Chicken Breast, some veggies, and some basic canned Butter Chicken sauce, along with rice/chickpeas/other stuff for future Meal Prepping needs.

I'm just curious on the best way to ensure the ingredients "absorb" the flavor. Last time I made it, I feel like the brocolli and chicken didn't sit in the sauce long enough, not making it taste as good as I could.

Usually I just boil the Butter Chicken sauce, sear the chicken in a pan, and throw the chicken and veggies into the sauce, steam it for a while, and then eat it over rice.

Any suggestions/spices/tips? I have a pretty full pantry at my disposal.

Shit was 5/$5 and I'm broke, plus it's the "good" shit, not off-brand

The Blue Dragon stuff is amazing. You won't make better by yourself. The purple/brown label indian sauces are also good.
