I scramble eggs in a cast iron all the time. If it's well seasoned and you use 1 Tbs of butter/3 eggs there's no sticking. Literally just wipe it out with a paper towel when I'm done.

OP used too high heat and wasn't able to gently scrape the curds to the side as they formed using low heat. Instead they scorched to the bottom of the pan. Incompetent technique that he laughably blames on the tool.
