I don't get people who dislike onions, they're delicious in any way. Raw onions are great on a sandwich. Only negative is probably that they upset my stomach a little.

I can't eat anything heavy with phosphorus or potassium.
So no tomatoes, potatoes, beans, nuts, bananas, and dairy. If I do eat it it has to be small amounts or my body gets full of phosphorus and causes my veins calcify, or potassium causing my heart to stop.
Tomatoes specifically are also really acidic for kidney disease.

If you don't like the taste of onions cooked or otherwise you have the palate of an autistic child.

most people who hate tomatoes have never tried a good tomato in their life. Seriously, if you live in a big city you probably haven't tried an actual good tomato. I grow my own tomatoes and they're a million times better tasting than what you buy from stores.

Main reason is that stores' tomatoes were not allowed to ripen on the vine, but picked earlier so they would ripe during the transportation phase. Another is the variety of tomatoes used by stores are selected for colors and damage resistance, not taste. The ones I grow are so meaty, juicy, and tasty, you can eat them with nothing (although I like adding salt and sunflower seeds oil) and have a great meal.
