I eat paleo. When i cheat i go to in and out and get a 4×4 with grilled onions only. Only meat cheese onions and bun. & fries. I bring my own ketchup because reg ketchup is mostly hfc. I get paleo ketchup at whole foods. Its $8 a bottle. Sweetened with honey. In & out is the best fast food. Good ingredients. Clean place. clean cut employees and Christian run.

A&W was bought out by YUM Foods and quality instantly tanked. They were able to get free in 2011 but the damage has been and they never actually reverted to their original ways which made them successful. Current A&W is floundering no different than when they were owned by YUM.

Ive been to one of these in tacoma washington. Burgers were dry af, and the frys were soggy. The cheese curds tho... They were the only reason those fucks stayed in business.

My local A&W growing up was top tier. It eventually went to shit and closed.
They had a local menu item called the big blue special. It was a triple cheeseburger loaded with fresh veggies nestled on a pile of fries in a styrofoam container for like six bucks.
It was named after the local college mascot and you could easily get lunch and dinner out of that foam treasure chest.

The A&W in my town is part of a Long John Silver's that I get occasionally. The A&W burgers and dogs are okay, but the fresh A&W root beer float in a chilled mug is probably the best thing besides the LJS battered shrimp.

We have one in the next town over but the owner only ever opens during the summertime for whatever reason. I guess it makes him more money or something because it's pretty popular during that time of year with the kids when they get out of school

We have a KFC/A&W combo in town. Everyone I know goes there for chicken and a root beer. I rarely hear about the burgers. I had one a few months back and I think it was decent. Bit small, but the toppings were good.

I tried some on a visit to Canadaland American Theme Park. The burger was not very good at all but the fries were tasty. Canadaland American Theme Park overall was a fun place, I like how you switch your money over into tokens and green and blue tickets. The burger cost me several tokens (4 gold and silver tokens plus one gold token for bacon).

The security guards ride on horses and some people say "bonjour" which I guess is an inside joke?
