Back in the states for a month before heading back to China. It's 15 degrees outside so grilling was a no go. I marinated some chicken thighs overnight and cooked them under the broiler for the first time. Alton Brown says the broiler is just a grill turned upside down. I don't know, what's see-kay's opinion? Tasted great, just not as much char as I was hoping for.

My main concern was the cold stripping away the heat from a grill. If you want to tell me it doesn't matter, and the grill will remain hot enough, I'll believe you and give it a try.
