Hey /ck/
So I’m trying to make thc infused beef jerky and had a question.
If I was to dehumidify beef marinated in decarboxilated weed-infused oils with a dehumidifier, will it ruin the psychoactive effects of the marijuana?

No, why do you think it would?

That said, it will be a nasty oily mess. Oil doesn't evaporate so it won't "dry out" in your humidifier. It will also turn rancid on you.

maybe just decarb then grind in a coffee grinder. after you marinate completely cover the strips in ground up weed. then dehydrate

I'm just throwing ideas out there.
I'm not sure meat can get dry if there is extra oil involved. I don't make jerky though
what I mentioned would be very heavy with weed tasted, I would imagine.
watch some episodes of bong appetite on vices youtube, there is a lot of info there that may help you out.

It's a problem you cannot solve. THC needs to be eaten with some kind of fat in order to be absorbed by the body. That's normally oil or butter. The problem is you can't add fat to jerky without runining it. The whole point of jerky is that it's made with lean meat. That's how it stays preserved--there's no fat to go rancid.

Add THC to something that already contains either fat or alcohol. Jerky contains neither so it's a no go.

Make a THC BBQ sauce, or some sort of sauce to dip the jerky into. If you're going for a stealth sort of thing, put your sauce in a ziploc bag and stick the jerky in there, either soaking it or dipping it, then turn that bag inside out and lick it up, you sexy beast.
