Like with normal vodka you're pretty limited with the alcohol concentration bc if you add too much they just fall apart which is why most recipes call for a super sweet and dilute shot but with everclear you can make your shots strong af, like a jello shot out of a normal jello shot cup can be almost as much as an actual shot.

Kraken gets a lot of shit because it's a bit of a fucking meme but it's honestly perfectly drinkable if you're not springing for an expensive liquor. It's got more alcohol per dollar than basically anything else at most establishments and stores, and the higher sugar makes it a different kind of drunk too that's in my opinion more pleasurable if you're drinking it to get drunk. The other thing is, it’s a reflux still not a pot still. It’s only useful to make neat spirit, so you can’t make anything where you want the flavour of the mash to carry over.

I’m that guy. Where I live, alcohol is subject to a retarded tax scheme. The average bottle of spirits carries the equivalent of US$25 in taxes, while a box o’ wine that has as much alcohol, if not more, can be bought for US$8-$12 total.

I graduated with a 3.8 GPA from a school known for it's rigorous academics. I went to maybe 3 parties in 4 years, but drank most nights and slept with 6 different girls (one was my on and off SO for the better part of 3 years). I went to college a decade ago and focused on my academics; all I did different was also manage to have a good time at the same time.
