Why is their fried chicken, the one thing they should be good at, so shit? It’s insipid. There aren’t even any good fried chicken places in London that have a decent level of hygiene. Chicken and chip shops have some good chicken but they are filthy as fuck and run by pakis. Not saying kfc is clean, but at least they have some standards.

I think the main reason was that as a foreinger I'd always be an outsider. That job offer was from 20 years ago, the crazy thing is that I could probably still execute it. They also seem to have some group think deal going on which really isn't appealing to me, hence visiting is OK, but I'd rather not live there. I'm just not a european.

Depends on how you behave to be honest. Your average Swiss is a quiet and discreet man. Foreigners tend to talk loudly in public transport whereas swiss don't, for instance.

I don't have preconceived notions about Switzerland, I have no reason to. We're just different and there's nothing wrong about that. We don't have to all be the same. Differences are fun and I get plenty of them in NY. NYS is even more fun since I don't have to deal with the stench of the city which when I go back can smell from about 60 miles out.

Maybe I was also scared. If I made that move I'd be commited to some company on some work visa in a nation that I didn't know much about. In NYC it's always been pretty easy that if I don't like some company I resign and find another, I've always been like that and suspect that I always will be. I for example. always liked it since a kid. From all the american chains we have in my country- McDonalds, Burger King, KFC, Subway, Dominoes, Church's(i think, but its branded as Texas Chicken here?), Dunkin Donuts, Starbucks(they sell some meme fast food, i guess it counts) KFC has always been my favorite by far. Ordering a big-ass bucket and devouring it all alone while watching a movie a few times a years has always been my guilty pleasure, but i try to not do it often cos damn, that shit's greasy.
Also, i fucking love their potato mash.
Their burgers a bit underwhelming tho, every time I order that spicy chicken burger(Tower ZInger or something?), the big piece of meat they put instead of a patty is always a bit dry

Also, they get a huge plus from me, cos they are the only one of those american fast food chains here that does deliveries, and as a lazy student living alone, that's a big plus for me.
I guess id be eatng way more mcdonalds or burger kind if they were doing deliveries, but thankfuly, they arent so I cant pig out that often

KFC is super cheap in some countries and super expensive in others but it's the same product makes no difference. Basically any developing country KFC is the king of fast food (because chicken is cheap everywhere), but in developed countries they try to charge permium prices for chicken which everyone knows is cheap so the stores get to traffic and get old and dingy.

No, it's extremely popular in the US. Just happens to be even more popular in China. A couple of anons here have been trying to force meme the idea KFC isn't popular which is ridiculous since their US business alone is $4.8 billion, way higher than any other fried chicken franchise.
