You probably could. But they generally eat rotten kebab meat, pizza crusts and vomit (at least in the uk).
Your better bet would be to eat wood pigeon. They are good in pies or stews. Game meat, good with cranberry sauce.

People do eat it. Look up Squab. I would say the most common way of cooking them is by roasting like most fowl.

>> No.11584727

My dad and grandma used to eat pigeons, crows as well. They would either cook them in a pan, or grill them
They stopped doing it because they no longer have pigeons, idk about the crow thing though.

Yeah go out to a livestock operation with a .22 and they might even pay you. They're really mild and fat from eating all the grain. Dumb fuckers steal so much grain they get too fat and lazy to fly away.

Once I saw a pigeon that had no toes, it walked on stumps, do these birds get leprosy or some shit?

>> No.11586032

Bird's respiratory systems are very sensitive and they will die without ample air. You are retarded.

Fights with other animals, infections, frostbite... Not leprosy, though, no.

>>11584467
You can eat them but they'll taste like trash because that's what they eat and are.
Country pigeons are lovely, though. Potroast them.
