What are some of the weirdest meats you've eaten? I bought pic related at a food truck, tasted like shrimp.

Pig ears w/chile sauce. it's pretty good once you have a few and get used to the texture.

I tried scorpion before. It wasn't bad, it tasted like toasted shrimp.

only "exotic" meat I've had was a sampler of alligator, ostrich, elk, kangaroo, and one i can't remember. you got 3 little pieces of 5 different meats for $35
the ostrich was my favorite

In South America I had guinea pig which was shit - greasy and all bones - and capybara which was good - like pork without the pork flavour.

Rat meat in a stick in a street on Cabo Verde. Surprising and tasty. A lot of little bones.
