Daily Reminder that the only fats that you should cook with are Butter, Coconut Oil, Lard, Olive Oil, Peanut Oil and Sesame Oil. If you use any of the following, you're an actual retard.

>shortening
>margarine
>vegetable oil
>canola oil

We used to use it for deep frying a lot. There is no equal. I can't find it easily anymore here though, I assume that's probably got something to do with the anti saturated fat hype, pretty much everyone switched to liquid plant based oils.

>baseline dietary cholesterol was a stronger predictor of plasma cholesterol than was added dietary cholesterol

the significance of the conclusion seems to have been lost on you. When they attempted to scientifically find the ratio at which dietary cholesterol adds to plasma cholesterol by carefully adding dietary cholesterol into their subjects diets and recording their results the formula yielded no predictable rate at which the addition of dietary cholesterol contributes to the addition of plasma cholesterol. So basically when they tried to reverse engineer their formula it fell apart and failed to yield predictable new data so it isn't an actual function.

You’re cherrypicking one line. If you actually bothered reading you’d realize it says baseline scores that are higher have diminishing effects BECAUSE THEY ARE HIGHER. Meaning 10 to 15 isn not going to be as drastic as 1 to 15. Look at the second fucking figure. They are literally fucking linearly illustrating dietary cholesterol with serum cholesterol and baselines. They are fucking saying you need baseline to determine how big the effect will be, what a fucking shocker!!!

Read the second to last paragraph. The fact I had to explain something so fucking simple shows how fucking thick headed amd ignorant you are. The last line even fucking says the other parameters aren’t non significant

Christ all fucking mighty. Nice job completely dodging saturated by the way!

The fact that the data most closely monitored by the scientists (the change in dietary cholesterol) failed to yield a function means that this particular formula ONLY works as a function when applied to stastical data that relies on the reporting of subjects about their best judgement on what their TYPICAL LIFETIME HISTORY of consumption of cholesterol has been but FAILED TO BE REPLICATED IN A PREDICTABLE MANNER when applied by the researchers in a closely controlled environment vis a vis finding no reliable data on the affects of increasing consumption. Furthermore the study begs the question of where and/or why a data set doesnt exists for what happens when they DECREASE dietary cholesterol off of the the baseline. It seems like a big hole in the study to leave that out or not bother to test it. Statistics are not cut and dry and this study leaves much to be desired insofar as backing up your claims. I think that's probably why they didn't make such claims themselves.

Dude you are fucking retarded. It outright states and shows the relationship between dietary and serum, all it says is that it is not as strong of a predictor without baseline. That is 100% difference from saying dietary doesn’t influence serum. It seems like a big hole because you don’t know what you’re reading or talking about

>study is about influences of dietary cholesterol INCREASING serum

>lol how absurd, why didnt they arbitrarily test to decrease it????

Incredible. And they say it is replicated
>Most important, the overall significance of the regression did not change, and the correlation between predicted and observed change in serum cholesterol was nearly identical

You completely editorialized

And they do actually make such a claim in the summary

>Serum cholesterol concentration is clearly increased by added dietary cholesterol but the magnitude of predicted change is modulated by baseline dietary cholesterol
