Oh shit, the pizza tray that came with the oven fits in the oven! I got behind on posting and already ate like half of the pizza, but am going to throw the last few slices under the broiler. It's not going to do anything for the crust, which is the main problem, but I haven't used the broiler setting yet, so why not. And the crust not being crispy has nothing to do with the tomato; there's a layer of fatty cheese insulating the crust from that.

Welp, by happenstance ended up at a new pizza place tonight. Got black olives, anchovies, cherry tomatoes, roasted garlic, mushrooms, and salami. For some reason they also added basil and balsamic reduction at the end, which I didn't complain about because it was the 3rd time they made my pizza and I was tired of waiting. It was homemade dough and a wood fired oven, but I think the Breville did a pretty comparable job.

Having the pizza I got for free for breakfast. I think the kid who made it must post here, because how the hell do you confuse pineapple with anchovies of all things unless you're constantly thinking about both of them?

I bought it more for more hobby reasons than as an actually practical appliance, but I really like it. I'd definitely use it more if I got a vacuum sealer, but I really don't have room for that at the moment. It's a lot bigger and noisier than I was expecting, and apparently the Anova is one of the quieter models. But it does exactly what it's supposed to do, which is pretty cool. I definitely wouldn't recommend it for everyone

And I like my toaster oven. I don't have a proper oven in my tiny kitchen but a TO is a surprisingly decent stand-in.

Kek, no. 5 years ago maybe those were the only ones available if you weren't /diy/, and those cost like $300. Now you can get pretty decent at home ones for only around $100 - probably less since I bought mine.
