Well, if you take into account the missing fry in the final row, the answer comes out to 60 times the square root of 2 plus 35 all over 7

The large fries cost me ~$2.12 with tax. Considering how the average number of fries in a large is 90, each fry costs ~ $0.02.

Impossible to solve, but maybe we can get close with what little we know. Assuming only what is actually visible matters (so no tricks like saying the cups are of varying fullness and you just can't see it), the thing that makes this unsolvable is the fact that the second row does not provide enough information to figure out the value of a Burger (Let's call it b). We know that 2b + (Small Drink, let's call it s) = 20, but with no information on the value of a Small Drink we can only solve b in terms of s.

From the second row, the best we can solve for b is:
b = 10 - s/2

The third row tells us that b + 28 Fries (f) = 9. The best we can solve for f is:
f = s/56 - 1/28

Now we've got the fourth and final row, featuring the return of the Large Drink, the one item whose value we actually know: b + 6f * 10 = ?
Calling the answer x and solving the other items in terms of s, we get x = 10 - s/2 + 60(s/56 - 1/28), thus:
x = 4s/7 + 55/7

If we make the reasonable (but by no means certain) assumption that a Small Drink is some positive fraction of a Large Drink, we can place the following constraints on the items:
10 > s > 0
10 > b > 5
1/7 > f > -1/28
95/7 > x > 55/7 or more clearly:
13 + 4/7 > x > 7 + 6/7

Maybe I fucked up somewhere but that's as far as I go. Knowing the exact value of any of the unknowns (s, b, or f) would be sufficient to solve the rest. You could narrow it down even more if you assume f must be positive too, but still not enough to solve it.

then why are you eating out. fast food is only "cheap" compared to traditional restaurants, still at least twice as expensive (likely more if you're not getting the best deals, coupons, and combos possible) as actual cheap food

>>11326440
even if you ignore the missing fry, what makes you think the single box of six fries is 2? let's even pretend that single box of six fries is the same as the two boxes of seven fries each above, why would any of them be 2? you would have to assume the burger is 5, which would mean assuming the smaller cup is 10, which requires assuming that the smaller cup is the same value as the larger cup

thats a pretty big mountain of assumptions, much more than just "not giving a shit about the missing fry"
