We have strawberry pies at the moment as a special, banana pies from time to time and pineapple pies most of the time.
Only had the pineapple one myself but I like it.
There are special burgers all the time but they're never anything 'chinese', they're stuff like a long McChicken with different salad, or there's a long beef & deep fried prawn burger. Stuff like that.

Hong Kong has great stuff though, they have a 'garden fresh angus burger' which is actually a really good hamburger, not even for mcdonalds but for any burger restaurant it's a good burger. pic related is the German double sausage burger, no idea if it's global or Chinese local. The sausages are rather good but the mustard is literally weak-sauce. The patties end up too dry because they don't get mustard or cheese and are just steamed beef brains etc. It's greasy as fuck, more than most McD burgers or local Chinese food.

Once you throw away the bland, dry patties and pour off the grease, the sausages are quite good and it makes a decent sausage burger.

this doesnt really count but the beef at aussie maccas is 10x better than the beef at japanese maccas. I had a big mac in japan and it was actually disgusting.

Well most of what you'll find abroad is Nouvelle cuisine. So I'd say peopple who like food but want to go beyond "Its feeds me and tastes good".

Though as far as I remember every french restaurant (outside from fake "café" shit) I've come up in foreign countries had stupidly high prices and was too far up its ass with dress code etc.
If I go to my local starred restaurant that has been opened for more years that I've been alive while only wearing jeans and a white shirt (or even a t-shirt and clean boots) I don't see why I should wear a full tux to go to a non-starred french restaurant that has been opened in a despotic country for less than 6 months.
