What would \ck\ enjoy eating during a day at the seaside?
Any ideas/activities you would recommend?

It's weird that Great Britain is an island but is so terrible at seafood.

I'm afraid you have me confused with someone else.
My kids are home from school this week and hubby and I were just looking for suggestions.

You're not a British person who has spent any time eating fish and chips by the sea.

t. british person who lives right on the fucking coast.

I live near Malibu, my favorite thing to eat after a day/morning of surfing is the new England style clam chowder bread bowl.

I live on the Oregon coast, where only assholes go to the pier to eat battered fish foods. If any respectable people are out on the pier/ docks here, it's to go fishing or crabbing, where we take it back home to clean, cook, and eat it without the use of a deep fryer.

Pic related, my parents and I used to go to places that sold them along the road when we were on long drives, but I haven't had them in years.

Should of gone to Cornwall, the seafood there is world class, I’ve only ever found better in Italy.
I’m assuming from your post you’ve been to Britain of course, it would be kind of dumb to have an opinion otherwise.
