I'm early gen Y and don't think I've ever had Crystal Pepsi. I drank Squeezit, Capri Sun, and Snapple in elementary school. Blue Sky was pretty based back then as far as soda went, but I also grew up in a heavily hippie populated part of the country.

I'm early Y from former commie zona (Poland to be specific). I usually had water from the drain while I was in elementy, until I switched to vodka when I was 10. I think everyone here had the same.

The one day a month we got chocolate milk at lunch time instead of 2%.

Mr Green and Pepsi Blue were my go-to from the vending machine when I was in 7th grade. They were discontinued by the end of the school year.

The two drinks that I remember most from my youth are RC Cola and New York Seltzer. Middle school was Fruitopia, Surge and occasionally Jolt. High school was Snapple Fire or Earth, occasionally Rain if the other two were gone. Also, Italian sodas from the coffee cart in my cafeteria.

Holy shit that brings me back and makes me sad that I'll never go back to times like those. Adulthood is liberating since you're your own man and call the shots, but the simple pleasure of playing about with zero worries and stress is also something incredibly special. It always seemed like it would last forever. The end of the school year always seemed an infinitely far away goal, and summer a practically eternally-lasting reward. Now it's Christmas all over again before I even realize it. Fuck, I'm only 23, I didn't ever think it would be this quick.

Anyways OP, the good chocolate milk that already came pre mixed and tasted super chocolatey, not just a teaspoon of Nesquick in a glass of milk.
