/ck/, you really need a sticky at this point.

I'll be moving in with my husband and have no idea how to groceries shopping. We eat together a lot, and cook a lot of foods, but I don't know how to measure the quantities of what we eat.

Also, how should I plan so that we eat a well-round, balanced menu and don't get vitamin deficiencies or what not?

We're really simple, we eat mostly rice/potatoes with chicken/beef and some veggies on the side. Should we keep doing that forever?

ps: has any of you ever lived in Chile? We'll be moving there shortly and I'm trying to gauge if 100,000 pesos for groceries, monthly, is doable (on a budget).

Thanks!

Just do what you have been doing and make some notes on how long it takes for things to run out and when you have bought too much and it goes bad. It's the same as living alone but with larger quantities.

don’t try to cook, you might cut yourself or start a huge fire that kills people

instead, tie a rope to something high, tie the other end around your neck, and leap

I thought about that, but is it really that simple? What about variety, and things you have to eat to be healthy and stuff?

??????????????????????

No, we don't need a sticky. Nothing about food is global - ingredients, traditions, tools, methods, and tastes all vary completely around the world. There is nothing we could say that would apply to everyone.

want me to teach you how to have sex too? Any other basic survival skills you missed out on? I actually know how to fly south for the winter too, which does come in handy even though it's not a human-type skill. I learned it from a goose.

I've turned down two women who wanted to marry me because I realize life isn't a race to lock yourself down with the first chick who's dumb enough to let you stick your ding dong in her holes

RIP your life savings, oops, you probably don't have much of that, I guess

Your dietary needs won't suddenly change because you are moving in with someone. Of course it's still important to do proper meal planning and eating healthy but it's better to learn those things a little bit at a time so you don't get overloaded, give up and default to shitty habits.

I'd suggest cooking a new dish regularly, maybe every or every other weekend, if you are worried about variety. Make it a habit to try new things and pick from different cuisines.
