i've been living in asia(mostly thailand) for 2 years now and really want to implement a few thai and viet dishes in to my main meal catalog. the problem is i've only ever seen korean stores back home. will they have thai chili, thai basil, palm sugar, galangal, papaya, long beans etc?

i heard sweet thai basil is ridiculously priced in the states so you have to grow your own and holy basil is basically unsourceable. does anyone know?
