You don't eat a sandwich with a fork because it's highly impractical and the effort put into doing so without making a mess would result into a goofy scene.
But pizza can be easily eaten with steel cutlery like you would do with a steak.
The way I choose to eat it is a matter of "where" I'm eating it.
