If you can't afford to give somebody a few bucks for gas to deliver your fat ass a pizza you should pick it up yourself.

Pizza drivers don't get $5 tips often. Average is around 3$.

>> No.11031370

If the total comes to 11.50, I'll pay 12 and tell 'em to keep the change. That's how tipping is done in Germany

>> No.11031377

I can afford it, but I don't tip anyway. Maybe don't be a delivery driver and get your fat ass a real job

Yeah, and i think ill order delivery when im in the hospital and not tip the dumbass who brings it

>> No.11031622

This is why I just order dry ingredients two or three days in advance when I'm running out and don't want to go to a store yet. Some of them are actually cheaper that way (because place is local) and I don't feel pressured or rushed browsing stuff and make poor decisions.

I can't keep track of all the pizza rules. And none of the places here offer whole wheat crust which I prefer and not just because it's supposedly healthier.

Also, it's not a good value for me because I get it without cheese. I'll just make my own or a calzone with veggies from Daddy's garden :-)

I'm an ex Dominos delivery driver from the college days.
The company gave me more than enough money for fuel because you get additional funds for each pizza you deliver ON TOP of your hourly rate.
Tips were lovely but never necessary. Your drivers spend their tip money on weed.

In the UK we have online ordering and there is no tipping available

They don't compensate me for driving there and using my gas. They already have a "delivery fee", and that should go towards the driver, not the store. Make a smarter business, charge more, anything but make ME pay your employee out of my own pocket.

That's fine I guess.

Honestly the pizza delivery place should provide a vehicle and pay for the gas, that way the employee isn't putting wear on their own vehicle or spending money while trying to make money. That seems fair.
