How do I make it so I'm less hungry though the day, and/or make it so it takes less food to feel 'full'?

I know it's possible. I inadvertently did it when I had medical issues that made it hard to eat. After I had surgery and stuff worked again, I had this magical 6mo period where I didn't regain hardly any weight back because I just couldn't eat that much food.

I want my natural mechanisms to be like that again, where it's more attuned to how much food I actually need.

surprisingly good hunger killer, though not everyone wants to drink a big amount of high-caffeine herbal tea every day
I just use it as a coffee substitute (skinny boy), but the temporary lack of hunger is definitely noticable

also pu-erh supposedly contains some substance that makes you absorb less energy from the food you're eating

This is pretty accurate
when i was at my skinniest my stomach was empty by the time i went to sleep, i had dinner a while before I went to sleep, and after dinner all i had was almonds and chocolate (w very little sugar) if i was still hungry I ate more almonds but almonds would never make me "full" again like dinner had.

generally, stop eating before you think you're full and you will slowly make your stomach go back to its small/normal size.

I once heard that your stomach's true size is the size of your fist, so make all your meals roughly the size of your fist and eventually you will be completely full on just that.

why do fat people always claim to defy the laws of physics?

you either replaced the sweets with some other calorie calorie bomb shit (fast food, snacks, milkshakes, "frappucinos" etc.), or you tried it for a week and obviously didn't see results because it's only a week

I personally lost 15 kg in a few months after just quitting sweets and soda

99% of people could be more or less in shape just by not eating sweets and snacks regularly and making sure their diet is reasonably balanced and healthy

Eat more fat, fat will make you feel fuller longer, it will help you sate some of your cravings.

Avoid processed sugars because they will not only give you the insulin crash that makes you feel like shit, it also jump starts your body to crave for more sugar. It's a vicious cycle, so if you can you should cut out sugars and empty carb foods like white rice and potatoes from your diet.

OP, you can make sure you are always hydrated, take fiber supplements throughout the day, or taking an anti-depressant which are known to reduce hunger. Try fasting/liquid dieting a couple days a week to shrink your stomach a bit, because you'll find yourself more attuned to portions after those days. You can also start your meal with a cup of soup or small green salad. Adding the 20mins of time with the first course before a meal helps you feel satiated, brain-to-stomach signaling takes time. As another anon said, there is a problem with sugar cravings and cycles that go with withdrawal. Try sugarbusters diet or atkins a couple of days and you'll realize how the cravings jones you hard. Controlling salt intake is easy when you drop some of your processed foods from the menus, such as rice or pasta mixes, it's in everything, and contributes to thirst which feels like hunger. As another anon said, porridge, a filling breakfast, will stick to your ribs until lunchtime pretty nicely. Have you done a food journal? You might figure out some trends you weren't previously aware of in yourself.

The one and only way to stop hunger is.... to eat.
Vegetables. Nibble on carrots, cabbage, cucumbers, asperges, broccolli, cawliflower, whatever you like. You can even put just a little salt on if you like. It's all healthy and will keep you full.

Fasting. Instead of being hungry constantly, you will only be hungry during the few days of fast while you can eat normally on the regular days, which removes the psychological tear of having to deal with constant hunger over a long period of time. Also the hunger during a fast usually only appears during the meal times and then it disappears again. During longer fasts it actually disappears completely after a few days. Fasting is not as hard as people think it is.

Not hungry all the time. I eat twice a day. Lunch is usually a matter of something modest and I wasn't truly hungry to begin with.
Dinner is a larger portion of something healthy, like 1 lean protein and 2-3 veg, or 2 veg 1 starch.
>wait for it
You're not hungry all the time either.

Stop eating foods with added sugar or sweeteners/artificial sweeteners of any kind, including honey. Cut breads as well. Get more exercise, more sunlight, more sex, and eat more leafy greens. Eat real scheduled meals, no snaking. Drink lots of water. Green tea (2/10), purslane (4/10), chickweed (5/10), and fresh wild chicory leaves (11/10), including other wild greens, all help curb, suppress, or outright kill mental hunger. Physical hunger, where your stomach is actually feeling hungry just need to be ignored. That will be your stomach shrinking down to a normal size as you adjust your diet. The physical hunger is usually easy-peasy to ignore, but the mental hunger is what most people can't ignore.

If you try water fasting, you absolutely must refeed properly over the course of several days. Research it properly or refeeding can actually kill you or land you in the hospital for G.I. blockage surgery. Fasting is a really good mental and physical reset, but only do it if you have 1lbs of extra fat weight per day.

yes it does you fat fuck. but you have to have an ounce of self control and sense of accountability for it to work. eat foods low on the glycemic index and foods with lots of fibre. the harder it is for your body to digest something the fuller you will feel. but of course if you give in to sugar cravings and lie to yourself after the fact of course you will gain weight.
