I just like cooking. I think it’s because I grew up in a big family. We had the same dozen bulk dishes on rotation. It’s nice to have control over what I eat now that I’m an adult.

I make better food than most of what even the "good" and hip restaurants around me offer and overcharge for and I do it for free (well whatever the materials cost which is much cheaper while being better quality generally). Plus, it's fun. I cook better than almost any female I've known also (actually most of the good cooks I've known in my life have been men)
