>turn on exhaust hood
>open kitchen fan
>cook a small batch of some leftover food and add some ingredients and change it up a bit in a frying pan with some oil
>make sure to stand as far away from the stovetop as possible and keep my hand as furthest away from the pan as i can
>oil, juices, sauce and shit evaporate and stick to my hair, face, glasses, hands, fingers, shirt and neck anyways
>smell like oil and food for the rest of the day until i wash my face, take a shower and change clothes
>get hungry again
>cook some more food
>deep fry some frozen chicken nuggets and french fries
>entire fucking house smells like oil for hours and my skin is engulfed in a thin layer of oil
>next day
>bake some vegetables and chicken and shit
>literally the only contact i make with the cooking food this time is opening the oven to take out the baking tray
>hair face and shirt is engulfed in baking smoke smell and stuff

cooking food is neat and all but how the fuck am i supposed to manage the smell? i don't not like the smell of food but i sure as hell don't like it if it's on me and if i literally just smell like oil / smoke

how do you manage the smell? do you literally just put on a chef's uniform before you cook and thoroughly wash your hands / face / glasses (if you have any) after you're done? that's the only solution i see

You need a biohazard or radiation suit, it's the only option.

I hate getting those tiny droplets of fat on my glasses whenever I fry something too. My solution is I got a portable induction top and a skillet and do all kinds of frying and deep frying outside or on a balcony while staying well upwind. No grease splatters, no smoke, no smell, neither on you nor in your kitchen/house. Very neat.

Oh and I also put a sheet of that non-stick baking paper on my induction top too before placing the pan on it. That way it stays as clean as a whistle no matter how much the food spatters.

doesn't help my main problem of the oil and juices evaporating and leaking out of the vaccum of the exhaust hood, but i guess i could get a splatterguard and use it along with >>10967299's idea
