As long as it's not staffed by indians they can be okish.
There's a place the next city over that's run by an indian/brit/american mutt family in the front end but the cook staff is all mexicans and a couple white women, serves the best "indian" food in the state and you can be fairly certain the cook staff uses toilet paper, washes their hands, and wears gloves properly.
I'd rather go for anything else over indian, but if it's somehow the only option that's the only place I'll go without a fight.
