No its really different. The burgers are grilled not made on a griddle. The fries are superior to in n out. I would take the burgers from in n out and the fries from the habit.

It's more like a higher quality BK than In n out, as >>10899367 said the meat is charred on a grill.

Honestly I think ever since they did their mass expansion the quality has gone downhill a little. Stale buns are becoming more frequent, and the meat is no longer hot off the grill.

During my college days in santa barbara I used to rate it with In n out, but now it's become a shadow of it's former self.

Was a 4 star cook, look, and you'll find there were lawsuits and settlements. They also have a very poor track record on LGBTQ rights.
