Rate this home cook.

Pork belly in asian inspired sauce served with potato and sweet potato mash.

Sauce was a reduction of soya sauce, lime juice, fish sauce, chilli, garlic, star anise, cardamon, cloves and ginger with brown sugar caramalised at the end.

Forgive the vegetables was going to do grilled asparagus and baby carrots but time was not on our side.

Meat was cooked at 120 degrees for 6 hours in the oven while basting then finished at 220 for 30 minutes.

I agree i did burn the brioche, i usually use a potato bun and didnt realise how easily brioche would burn.
