Serious question: I eat spicy food a fair bit, but I only get the Ol' Spicy Anus on pretty rare occasion. Does the Spicy Anus phenomenon only occur when the body fails to process all the capsaicin from the food? Do some people have more difficulty processing capsaicin than others? I've heard this Spicy Anus thing all my life but for me it's really a non-issue, 99% of the time when I eat spicy food it's not spicy coming out the other side

Well my guess is that you avoid vegetables until you feel like an enchilada and you get the first fiber in your body for months. So incorporate more vegetable into your diet to make it easier. Also take into consideration foods that are good for your kidneys, the problem could come from there.

A couple days ago a friend of mine ate some hot Chinese crap and got spicy anus... Only he was texting to me that he has never had this happen to him before. This was the first time he's felt it in the 25 years of his life. He's eaten plenty of spicy food in front of me so idk how he's avoided feeling it all these years. Meanwhile I eat jalepenos on my hotdog and get volcano bum and an upset stomach the rest of the day.
I love spicy foods and I'm willing to risk a little discomfort, but I've eaten plenty of spicy things and I still get the zesty rectum often. Idk what to do.

Have you tried just taking medicine before spicy meals?
I have a chronic stomach disorder and often have to take a medicine before I eat or else it will be terrible. I don't get spicy anus but I do end up vomiting without it.. anyway

it's a non prescription med you can buy at any pharmacy, some even have cheaper store brands, but the brand name is Gaviscon. it's kind of like a super concentrated tums without the irritating dyes and sugar. tastes like nothing and really saves me, might help you if condition is persistent.

Your large intestine (colon mostly) doesn't actually do any digesting, but it does take care of absorbing some salts and liquid, so if you have diarrhea it doesn't spend much time in your colon and you get the full brunt of the capsaicin on your anus, and that's just an awful feeling.

If you look up "homosexuality colon cancer" there are tons of results from pretty official sources.
