is it true that sugar makes the coffee gives less energy for the person who drinks it? sometime i put less or more sugar and i feel different about the energy

It might just because it's something else for your body to digest, so it's not just getting straight caffeine as quickly. I don't think it would be a big difference though unless you're loading it up with tons of sugar and cream.

Also the amount of caffeine and other things can vary by cup, and it also depends on things like how long it's been since you last ate, what you last ate, etc.

If I compared drinking a bunch of plain coffee to drinking a coffee smoothie that was full of fiber, it'd give me more energy in the long run but would make it feel like I wasn't getting as much of an initial burst of energy.

What did he mean by this?

Probably just wondering if it interacts. If the sugar slowed down caffeine absorption, it might make it seem like it's given you less energy. It's the whole theory behind "bulletproof" coffee, that the extra fat slows down digestion. So you're still getting the same amount of caffeine, just over a longer period of time, which could make you feel like you've gotten less energy if you're looking for that initial jolt more.

Bulletproof coffee is kind of retarded because you could just make coffee in milk and add cream which would give you the benefit of protein too, and sugar probably doesn't slow digestion very much so it might not make a big difference, but there is spme logic to it.

Look up bulletproof coffee if you don't know what it is. It's basically coffee emulsified with butter to slow digestion and provide a slow release of caffeine to the body. Fat takes longer to digest than water, so it makes sense. It's just silly since cream has a lot of fat and you can just add that.

Loser. Have a healthy diet and work out more, get plenty of sleep and take your vitamins. You'll have energy. Coffee is for sipping and enjoying your morning or evening.

If your diet is healthy, why do you need to take vitamins?
