I make a version where I use leftocer risotto from the night before that is excellent but I don't use any godforsaken ketchup.

Cute waitresses usually use the ketchup to write things on the omurice at maid cafes.

You can also try cooking the ketchup in with the rice filling so the flavor isn't as distinct. I actually prefer it this way if, when cooking it, I'm asked to have ketchup in the dish.

grew up in bestkorea so im used to the ketchup.
but you can honestly stuff it with anything, m8. fried rice, dirty rice, jambalaya, curried rhicken rice, lo mein, etc. the omu of omurice is simply the package.

Out of south korea? Korean airlines, I think. And Northwest on the way back-they have pretty good midnight snacks, and yes, I love raiding their honey-roasted peanuts. I remember cleaning my desk drawers and finding packets that were about 5 years old. Still tasted alright.
