Where do you live? Their small hamburgers are 1.70 here. It's 5 dollars for a big chicken fillet sandwhich, which isn't bad considering I don't feel like deep-frying one at home and the quality of other places chicken sandwiches is just bad. I haven't had a burger there in years but if I remember right they're pretty good.

A Whopper Meal at Burger King will run you 8.54 here but I can get a far better 2/3 lb. Monster Thickburger or Half Pound Frisco Burger for less money, 7-8 bucks. Granted that's no fries or a drink, but I keep water and fuck fries.

Part of the pricing is the fact that the food isn't pure shit and the staff isn't always mentally handicapped druggies and excons?

Fast food is losing marketshare to fast casual, so they are raising item prices to keep shareholders from shitting themselves. It works because most of the people that still eat fast food are lard ass addicts.

Hardees is good for fast food. I'd put them on the same notch with Wendy's, and easily above McD's and BK. They easily have the best milkshakes of any chain, and they have the best biscuits in the drive-thru breakfast game. Paying around $12 seems to be the price point, whether I go to Five Guys, Hardees, or get a Baconator combo and small chili at Wendys.

>8.49 USD for two 1/4 lb patties (8 oz) and fries vs 8.54 for a 12 oz burger with no fries that's better quality.

I'll go with Carl's man. Whoppers are almost gas-station quality.

Far better than Hardees in every possible way.
The $5 combo is great, a double cheeseburger, a chicken sandwich, fries a drink and a cookie.

The Big Carl is the King of the Menu. >>10663599
All whoppers are gas station food, the only time I ever had a good one was in Toronto Canada and I was more Liquor than man.
