Egg salad sandwiches. No joke. I keep a bit of a mental catalog of which gas stations have the best. Which use too much mayo, which have dry bread, etc etc. I travel around the north/midatlantic quite a bit, I’ve had plenty of egg salad sandwiches and wraps over the years

Gas station foods and drinks get a bad rep but they are popular for a reason.

It really depends, usually I just enjoy the pre-made sandwiches they have for cheap and a coffee/emergy drink. The sandwiches at the one I usually go to are good. Egg salad is my favorite.

I've been grabbing two for lunch every weekday along with a few cans of malt liquor.
I have no shame. Also have taken a liking to these pickled sausages, even though I know they're pure garbage.

I don't know how prevalent these gas stations are, but there's a Stripes truck stop that features Laredo Taco Company Tex Mex that's OK, especially the pork carnitas tacos with onions and a squeeze of lemon.
