10649509 No.10649509 [Reply] [Original]

What’s the best water to drink? I’m on a paranoid scavenge for the best water for my health, and I’ve been running in Fiji and Evian for the past 2 weeks. I can’t say I’ve noticed a drastic change in my health, but I wasn’t expecting that anyway. It’s running me a few bucks though.

Is boiilng tap water really an effective way of “cleaning” it? All I’m looking for is something not littered with metals and a decent alkaline level.

Also I live in the US. If that makes a difference.

semi-sparkling
High magnesium content
calcium

Also it came out as one of the purest waters when tested for hormones, pesticides and toxic metals.
It has nice, slightly salty taste, very refreshing and quenches thirst for a long time. Also high magnesium content is perfect for any activity, this shit makes me feel better than most energy drinks.

What you're looking for is Mountain Valley Spring Water. From their site:

>Foodies, chefs, and the health conscious love the naturally detoxifying high alkalinity, 7.8 pH, and unique blend of rich minerals of The Mountain Valley Spring Water. The fact that it’s naturally ionized, sodium-free, bottled in glass to maintain purity, and was named “Best-Tasting Water in the World” twice doesn’t hurt either.

>1920. The Mountain Valley makes it to the White House and the U.S. Senate and serves our country by refreshing Commanders in Chiefs from Coolidge to Eisenhower to Clinton. It’s still served in the Senate today.

>1928. Distribution makes its way to California making The Mountain Valley the first bottled water available coast to coast

>The thriving horse racing community in Hot Springs chooses The Mountain Valley as the training water for their star horses including Nashua, Sunday Silence, and the legendary Secretariat. It’s many trainers’ secret-weapon-water to this day.

>The taste and healing properties of The Mountain Valley water make it the go-to choice for some of America’s greatest icons including Frank Sinatra, Joe Louis, and Elvis Presley.

>Thanks to extensive clinical testing in hospitals after World War II, the Mountain Valley’s health-boosting benefits stand strong amid an FDA crackdown on advertising claims.

I drink this stuff almost every day. It's hands down the most refreshing water I've ever drank. Very light, not thick and filling like Evian, Crystal Geyser etc., High drinkability. And it has a real nice flavor, almost a little sweet and the flavor doesn't linger. The best part of all is that it's actually cheaper than almost all other name brand waters. My local Kroger sells 1 1/2 pint bottles for $1. The sparkling variety is really good too. The initial bubbles when you break the seal sounds like fireworks. Best bottled water out there.

Personally I think this is engrained by the state schools, calling everything but the blind faith in the politicians and the state a silly conspiracy. Especially in europe this mentality is wide spread. People will call you nuts when you claim anything "father state" does might not be in their populations best interest and the state does what ever it can to keep up the show. Be it on the water quality, where they simply either don't measure the things relevant, call it still far to low to be relevant or simply push the limits up so to still not be made to install specific expansive filters - while also claiming people buying themelseves reverse osmose filters are aluminium hat wearing illuminati tier conspiracy theorists. Or in things like migration where they will lie to your face against every economic study, biology, culture, statistics and sher numbers that "we" NEED it and profit from it, while having to be thankfull and aceppt rape of women and children as normal consequences of living in big cities.

Well, they currenty stopped calling you nuts and started to call you hate monger and shill for harder laws for speaking against state issued talking points.

But I am sure the state would never do anything which might hurt my fellow shabbos goys.

Boiling water gets rid of most bacteria and parasites, but it doesn't get rid of metals or most other chemicals. For that, you need to distill it. Bottled water is not a good alternative since it also has additives and drinking from a plastic bottle is unhealthy anyway. Distilling water requires some setup, but it's easy to do so if you can't trust your tap water just look up a video on how to distill your water. And do it yourself, it's easy and that way you can be sure you know exactly what's happening to the water. Don't get tricked into buying water purifiers or whatever since they just add more shit to the water. Also, once distilled store it in glass bottles/containers. Plastic and most metals will contaminate the water, but glass doesn't.

Are water filters really bad? I got a BRITA 'cause honestly I'm tired of all the plastic bottles I ended up with, and I generally filter around 1 liter and pour it immediately in a glass bottle in my fridge. Am I fucking myself up more than I would with tap water?
I tried searching for a glass version and I'm honestly amazed absolutely no water filters company has one. The containers never get replaced anyway, the filters do, so why the hell aren't they releasing glass versions?

Idk you're right in most cases but I've discovered that Crystal Geyser doesn't taste like plastic of it stays cool. If I can't taste plastic I'm usually happy.
You can buy stuff in glass bottles, that works too.
If you're in a pinch leave your glass of tap water out in the sun so the chlorine evaporates.
You'll still be left with the fluoride and whatever else they put in there.
If you're really being thorough you can get a decanter or carafe and pour it slowly in hopes that sedimentary "poisons" won't escape into your cup.
And if you want to stretch the amount of hydration you get out of your gallon of Crystal Geyser, you can mix it with tap water prepared in the ways I described.

Your health will not improve from drinking clean water.
Your health could improve from consuming enough water each day if you had been operating daily in a state of dehydration.
Your future health could possibly be affected by contaminated this or that, for instance, overindulging in some minerals daily like large amounts of calcium (kidney stones), or consuming untreated well water that doses you in agricultural things like PCPs, heavy metals.that can affect health of your nerves and brain, etc.

>Is boiilng tap water really an effective way of “cleaning” it? All I’m looking for is something not littered with metals and a decent alkaline level.
There are biological matters to consider (things living in the water), and then there are chemical toxins matters to consider. No boiling is not enough, toxin particulates need to be trapped in a filter, ionized out in a two or three step processes, or collected from steam distillation and then additionally treated. Boiling will kill some viruses and bacteria and it's a good thing to do when you fear your home tap water might have had intrusion of ground or storm waters during a leak or lack of power. It's a temporary measure so you don't die from dehydration and should be avoided anyway for bottled water if possible. Why? Killing bacteria makes dead bacteria toxins in water is only slightly better than the bad water in the first place.

>Also I live in the US. If that makes a difference.
