However you're taking pictures with a fucking phone, just use a fucking jpeg for christ sake, the pictures aren't good quality to start with for it to matter. A full quality jpeg and png are indistinguishable in this case.

You would get laughed out of any half decent photographers studio if you saved your photos as PNGs. If you want high quality image files, you save them as RAW for later use. If you are ready to use them for the web, you save them as the appropriate sized jpg for the needs of the specific situation. At no point are photos being saved as PNGs unless they're being incorporated into some sort of logo or graphic, or unless you're retarded, which you are.
